Re: anyone up for a bit of Brazil?

Not saying I think Ocon did it on purpose, but I do agree with Jollyone Palmer that if that had been Hamilton he wouldn't even have tried it. A problem with the junior teams set up Palmer's point wasn't about the team that Ocon is driving for; it was more about the personal history between Ocon and...

Re: anyone up for a bit of Brazil?

10:30 was too late for me last night so I haven't watched anything beyond a few clips yet. Sounds like it was an entertaining one anyway and I'm looking forward to catching up later. Red Bull are doing well at the moment and people keep getting excited about the potential for next year's Honda engin...

I bet he doesn't get to 22 wins though...
Although when we get to Abu Dhabi, I believe he does know what he's doing.

Re: Japanese GP

I don't really buy Vettel quoting the line about not going for a gap meaning you're no longer a racing driver as a valid defence of his move on Verstappen yesterday. While he made that move work several times on second tier cars later in the race, it just wasn't going to happen against one of the to...

Re: Rumour: Kimi signs new two year Ferrari deal

I was just looking at one of the driver rating pieces today that pointed out how invisible Raikkonen has been for the last couple of weekends. It crossed my mind that it was just as well he is retiring in that case; and then I remembered he is carrying on. Is he going to adopt the Marcus Ericsson ro...

Proposed change to qualifying

I read the headline and was initially worried it was another pointless change, maybe a return to the awful one-lap system or something. Instead, the idea of moving to a four session qualifying format could be quite a good idea. Dropping four cars each session, down to a final eight competing for pol...

Re: Drivers Faux regrets over benefiting from team orders

You actually think that refusing them on track would be a realistic option? The swap of positions looked clumsy enough as it was. The only time to decline them is before the race. As Hamilton said in the interviews afterwards, he can see that they can't risk giving away points until the title is dec...

Maybe Stoffel's departure from McLaren is to make space for Kimi's return?

In reality, I am sure it's a more recent ex-McLaren driver that will be taking that seat.
Erm, I mean I bet they want to give the implausibly named Lando Norris a race seat.
