Re: Welcome back babblers, its Tuesday

I would definitely try out skeleton bob if I got the chance. At least you can't fall over, after the start anyway. You can do a slow start, laying down and pushing with your feet and that has got to translate to lower top speeds as well... maybe one change of trousers instead of two.

Re: 2018 F1 Launch Dates

I am assuming that nobody will reveal the fairings they will be running yet and they will all evolve through the year to try getting the right airflow to the back of the car. There are some better pictures of the Red Bull now and the sidepods actually look quite different to the other cars shown so ...

Is that another Ferrari-esque sidepod too? If Aston Martin keep that level of prominence on the race livery, it won't be ...

Re: 2018 F1 Launch Dates

Last year everyone thought they were going to see something amazing but they pulled the covers off to reveal a fairly uninspiring machine, followed by a month of comments about waiting to see the real car at the first test, second test, first race, before realising that...

Re: race today

I always forget its on. I dont understand why so many manufacturers are involved in it now when they cannot actually develop the cars?? The development is restricted to the power train only, but that suits the manufacturers perfectly as the technology is supposed to transfer strai...

https://www.haasf1team.com/sites/default/files/HF1_VF18_SIDE%20%282%29.jpg Haas release the first images of their car. Looks like an improved livery and a generally nice car. Not really much detail visible in the pics yet. https://www.haasf1team.com/sites/default/files/6_HF1_VF18_THREE_WIDE_EMAIL.j...

Re: Welcome back

It is comforting that we have at least kept the typo on "ying"and yang that probably goes back to Herb's days.

Grand Prix Driver

I had really been looking forward to the new Amazon series, following McLaren in 2017. In my mind, it was going to be an update to the amazing BBC series covering the full 1993 season that really helped me build my interest in F1. Instead they made four half hour episodes, covering the final stages ...

Re: Welcome back

Is "feeback" a thing now or just a typo?
