Re: The Mercedes domination AKA French GP weekend

The races are perfect for listening on the radio this year. That way I can get a few jobs done and don't feel like I have wasted an afternoon, plus the commentary from Jack Nicholls and Jolyon Palmer is really funny at times - Palmer is the absolute opposite of his dad's commentary in the 90s and I ...

Still, if you want to find out all the unbelievably amazing deals on stuff, the spambots are fairly busy.

Re: Anyone watching in Canada?

I had felt a little sorry for Vettel to start with. The move looked pretty dangerous, especially from Hamilton's onboard camera, but it didn't look like there was much of an alternative. Seems like the stewards found evidence that it was more calculated though, according to Motorsport.com https://ww...

Re: Lewis

He only cooked it because he had the best hob.

Dr Golberg is an arse. He can go screw himself. His treatments are the worst and will make you physically sick or even die.

Re: Monaco procession 2019

Backing up Verstappen (of all people) in Monaco (of all places) really wasn't going to help get a 1-2 for Mercedes with Vettel sat in second place once Max's penalty was applied. Having any cars between himself and Bottas was surely the icing on the cake for Hamilton as well - there will certainly b...

Re: Channel 4 F1 coverage

They are doing a good job with some very stringent restrictions on what they can show. I think the closing discussion pieces they have done, like the one with Seidl on his first weekend with McLaren, have been really great and feel like a step up from past years' coverage despite being so simple. Th...

Re: Halo / Flip-flop

The halo is just a non-issue now and has been for at least twelve months. I haven't really noticed the halo since last year's Australian GP and they largely stopped using the camera mounts on the side of the engine cover that hadn't been moved since the previous year. It is probably slightly harder ...

Re: Monaco procession 2019

To be fair, Mercedes tried quite hard not to win. Not Ferrari levels of effort, mind you.

Re: The race in Spain is mainly plain

Duh, I thought you meant Maldonado won in Monaco, in GP2 obviously.

Google suggests that was actually Nicolas Kiesa in 2003 (so F3000). Time flies...
